Morshad Alam was born to Muslim parents in Chandpur. His father, Hazi Ali Hossain and his mother, Piara Begum is a housewife.

Morshad Alam attended the public school DSKM in Dhaka. He passed his higher secondary exam from Sheikh Mujibur Rahman College.

Morshad attended the  B.Sc, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT)  Undergraduate with Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering.
